Birth Center Package

When it comes to being able to afford your prenatal, birth, and postpartum care, a Licensed Midwife and Birthing Center is a great option! Costing at least 50% less than what prenatal care with an OBGYN and delivery in a hospital setting would cost you, you can afford to receive quality care that is personalized to you.

We offer monthly payment plans and various discounts (self-pay, early payment, Christian health share programs, military/first responder families, and Medicaid families) to further minimize the stress on your budget.  For self-pay clients, the approximate total cost for the below package will range from $5,500 to $6,500 depending on which discounts are applicable to you.

For those who have questions about insurance coverage, we are considered to be an out-of-network provider with Cigna, Aetna, and United Healthcare. Unfortunately TriCare, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, and Medicaid will not cover our services (but we do have discounts available to you to help make self-payment an affordable option for you!). Your “Birth Center Package” includes the following:

  • 24-hour Midwife availability for any urgent questions or concerns you might have, from the moment of hire until your final postpartum visit

  • All of your routine prenatal visits with a Midwife, which will be monthly starting at 8-12 weeks to 28 weeks, every other week from 28 weeks to 36 weeks, and then weekly until delivery (unless needed more frequently)

  • Routine laboratory tests (these are collected in office, so there is no need to go to a separate facility)

  • Ultrasound referrals to a local facility, as needed or at your request

  • Continuous care, support and monitoring by a Midwife, during active labor, birth and immediately postpartum

  • One of our Birth Assistants to assist the Midwife at your birth

  • Immediate newborn exam and general care for you and baby for the first 6 weeks. This includes newborn weight checks and unlimited breastfeeding and lactation support with a Midwife (so there is no need to see your pediatrician until baby is two months old!).

  • Your choice of one of our themed private birth rooms, each with a full ensuite bathroom (including a large shower), water birth tub, and your private garden patio area. These rooms also come with soft sheets and warm fluffy towels, flameless candles, diffusers with essential oils, a bluetooth speaker for your labor music playlist, ceiling and handheld fans, lights on dimmers, and your own thermostat to set the temperature to whatever feels comfortable for you. We also have a tankless water heater on-site, so you will never run out of hot water!

  • Use of the birth center facility while you are in active labor through the immediate postpartum.  You are welcome to bring any family members and friends that you would like to attend your birth, and they can either be in your room with you, or relax in our comfortable reception area close by.

  • Herbal bath postpartum for you and your baby

  • All medical and non-medical equipment and supplies (there are no kits to purchase or anything you have to bring with you!)

  • Newborn eye prophylaxis “Erythromycin” and intramuscular Vitamin K medications for baby (if desired)

  • Use of our birthing stools, birthing balls and our yoga sling during your labor

  • Snacks and drinks provided while you are in labor, with an on-site kitchen to store any other food or drinks you would like to bring with you

  • Social Security Card and Birth Certificate filing

  • Access to our extensive collection of books in our Lending Library

  • Discounts on a variety of recommended supplements that we carry in house (food-based prenatal vitamins, fish oil, shelf-stable probiotics, vitamin D3/K2, magnesium, vitamin B6, vitamin B9 (L-methylfolate), and food-based iron supplements)
